Science
Science chapters are short and divided into lessons. Vocabulary will be introduced, definitions will be located, and the students will read the lesson. The following day the vocabulary is reviewed, the lesson is read aloud, concepts are explained in simple terms often with the use of illustrations, maps, videos, and/or manipulatives. Lesson review sheets are then completed and graded.
Please review the lessons with your child often, along with vocabulary, and study the review sheets for the test. Grades will be based on class work, homework, quizzes, tests, participation, projects, and reports.
