Teacher Message: 
Hello 3rd grade students and parents!! Welcome to on-line learning! I am going to continue with where my classes left off back in March.  We are going to continue with Chapter 10 "Cycles and Patterns in Space" with a couple assignments this week.  Do the best you can and have fun!

Learning Objectives for the week: 
The students will understand what causes the cycle of day and night on Earth.

The students will understand how the Moon goes through a cycle of "phases" each month.

Standards Addressed:

Standard 3.3.3.B1 Relate the rotation of the Earth and day/night to the apparent movement of the Sun, Moon, and stars across the sky.

 Assessment Anchor - S3.D.3 Composition and Structure of the Universe.
