Attendance Policy
Your child's potential for growth and development is maximized through consistent participation in a high quality environment. With this in mind it is very important that your child attend preschool on a regular basis.
We understand that children are susceptible to illness and may miss some days of participation due to illness. Absences due to illness will be considered an excused absence. There may be other legitimately excused absences, please talk to your child's teacher when your child is absent. A doctor's excuse is required after 3 consecutive days of absence.
Because this program is funded by a State Grant attendance is very important. Therefore any unexcused absences that total more than 10 days or 5 consecutive days may be grounds for dismissal from the program.
