The Ceramic Minion is the first clay project the students will create in Crafts 1. Prior to this lesson students will have learned a variety of techniques in order to create this art piece. They will follow a set of instructions presented by the teacher and have daily demos to ensure they understand how to apply techniques onto their minions.
Students will have a set of requirements needed in the overall project. These requirements are as follows:
100-93 92-85 84-77 76-70 69-0 1. Creativity in their overall Theme idea (ex. Baby) Exceptional new idea,
Minion drawing outstanding.
Good Idea, more then 1 new part included in minion taken from examples.
Picture drawn very neatly.
Ideas filled in matching the example minions, only included 1 new aspect. Minion drawn nicely. Ideas copied the example mnions and picture drawn in messy and partially unrecoginizable or unfinished. No ideas at all, bare minion. Not Drawn at all, andnothing added. required items:2. Eyes/Goggles (one or 2, and goggle band) 3. Mouth/teeth/object(ex. pacifier) 4. Clothes (ex. baby diaper) 5. Hat/ Hair (ex. Baby Bonnet and hair)
