• Hope you all had a great Easter break with your families.

This week we are going to view different museums.  Since we can not go to them, they can come to us.  You will click on the museum I have posted it for that days assignment to take a tour of and answer the questions I have listed about your favorite art work found in the museum you viewed on your tour.

    April 14th, 2020:

Today you will be taking a virtual tour of the J.Paul Getty Museum, in Los Angeles, California.  This museum houses famous art works from Vincent Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cezanne, Renior, and more.

Find your favorite art work, and on a piece of paper answer the following questions:

    1.  What is the name of the artwork?

    2.  Who is the artist?

    3.  In a full paragraph, describe how the art work looks.  Include the subject drawn,  the colors, and what materials he/he used; like paint, pencil, etc.

    4. What do you like and why did u choose it?

    5.  Describe something you do not like about the work and think could be changed.

    6.  Would you look at more artwork from this artist?

    April 16 & 17th, Assignments:

I thought since I gave you writing assignments for 2 days.  That for yesterday and today you have one assignment!

For today's assignment, I would like you to watch this video and use an ordinary everyday object to include in your drawing in a creative way.  Its Friday, have fun with this.  You may use pencil, markers, colored pencils, really any material you have to add color or keep it black and white.  You do not draw the object you chose from your house, you only draw something around the object.

Please send the photo to my email.  Have a great weekend!!
